Vermont’s 15 Parent Child Centers are community-based, welcoming hubs that provide a range of services and programs to support families. Working together as a Network, the Parent Child Centers are partners in Vermont’s systems of care for pregnant and parenting families with children under age six. Their mission is to ensure that children thrive in safe, stable, and nurturing environments and parents have the support, information and resources that are critical to helping children thrive and improving outcomes.

We were asked to produce a series of films for VPCCN to tell their story and educate the public, as well as key decision-makers in the legislature, about the many services that the Parent Child Centers provide beyond their Early Childhood Education and Childcare programs. We filmed at several of the Centers around the state to show the breadth and scope of the Network’s shared vision, philosophy, and purpose.

In addition to an overview film introducing the Network, we produced 8 short films explaining each of the 8 Core Services that all PCCs are charged with delivering to families within their region. These films populate VPCCN’s new website and are key features of their social media outreach. We also produced a longer film which combines the overview with all 8 Core Services as a comprehensive tool for advocacy and fundraising.

“I showed the videos at our Network meeting Friday.  Everyone was so excited and amazed!   They are so professional and beautiful.  We had a great conversation about how to use these videos to share our impact and educate our legislators and the public about what we do. ”
