The Vermont Verde quarry in Rochester and the enormous stone fabrication plant in Barre are both historic locations that owner Tom Fabbioli acquired in 2007. Along with his family, Tom has expanded and improved the manufacture of one of Vermont’s signature products and one of the most renowned stones in the world – Vermont Verde Serpentine.

With the goal of growing its markets and introducing the VVS brand to a new generation of architects and designers, we began our deep dive into the quarry (not literally recommended) in the summer of ’24. Our initial phase has included capturing the essence of the stone and the quarrying process, in filmmaking, photography and copywriting in order to develop a new, more expansive website and initial advertising.
