Mobile Crisis Vermont is a new mobile, emergency system for Vermonters experiencing mental health and substance use crises. It’s an invaluable approach to help relieve stress on critical emergency resources – ERs, Police depts. etc. And it’s a program that benefits all Vermont communities.
We were chosen by the managing DA, Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) to handle all aspects of the statewide public launch of the service on GetHelpVT.org. We began by creating a positioning statement, “Just Remember This”, in order to keep the focus on the url as the core message. We wrote and produced a multi-part television, radio and digital advertising campaign, as well as negotiated an extensive, ongoing PSA component. In addition, we handled the PR outreach, including writing and disseminating a story for virtually all Vermont media and arranging interviews with the program’s director on select stations.
The second phase of the project began when Mobile Crisis Vermont connected with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline as its referring hub in its second year. We evolved the core messaging to “Don’t Wait – Call or Text 988”, and produced a series of 5 films for end users and providers to better understand how the Mobile Crisis system can be accessed via 988 and what to expect when you make that life-changing call.
“Working with The Imagination Company on our statewide communications campaign was a highly successful experience. They were exceptionally responsive, crafted an effective campaign, and maximized our budget efficiently. We were impressed with their professionalism and creativity throughout the project.”
