As a genuinely groundbreaking institution and one that has had profound impact on generations of families, The Lamoille Family Center is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026. Having worked with many of the wonderful staff as part of our work with the Vermont Parent Child Center Network, it has been a real honor to produce a documentary film for the occasion.

Working with the initial founders, and current and past members of the LFC team, while researching, interviewing, accumulating materials and gathering stories; has been amazingly emotional and rewarding for us. It’s a powerful story of how a few people with real vision and passion can persevere, and create something that was impossible to imagine when it began behind an old ramshackle furniture store fifty years ago.

While we can’t post the film until the official first showing in September, we thought we’d share a few screen grabs in advance.

“You are amazing and you know how to capture the beauty and magic of LFC so well. We are very grateful and appreciative for this labor of love and the heartfelt effect it has.”
