Mobile Crisis of Vermont is a new mobile, emergency support system for Vermonters experiencing mental health and substance use crises. It’s an invaluable approach to help relieve stress on critical emergency resources – ERs, Police departments, EMTs, etc. And it’s a program that benefits all Vermont communities.

The second phase of the project began last spring when Mobile Crisis of Vermont connected with Vermont’s 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline as its referring hub in its second year. We evolved the core messaging to “Don’t Wait – Call or Text 988”, and produced a series of 5 films for end users and providers to better understand how the Mobile Crisis system can be accessed via 988 and what to expect when you make that life-changing call.

“I have seen the videos, and they are fantastic. We really love them.”
