The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is one of those big ideas that can be hard to bring to fruition. On completion, it will be a one of a kind recreational experience spanning the State of Vermont. Several years ago Senator Bernie Sanders secured a federal grant to begin its development, and as he and others hoped, create an economic development opportunity for 18 communities and the State itself.

We were chosen to create an actual model and plan to reach that potential. Part of our strategy involved developing a brand for the experience itself as well as a marketing and advertising plan for the rail trail’s long term success.

In addition, a big part of our focus was in the overall storytelling to demonstrate the project’s potential to political and community leaders, as well as to support an ongoing fundraising effort to get the LVRT built. We also developed an outreach strategy for grass roots community and regional support.

Various elements we delivered along with our strategies were: creative and production for all TV, film, radio, print and digital advertising, collateral, presentation decks and web development.

“The Imagination Company: a more appropriate name could not have been chosen for this group of out-of-the-box thinkers and doers. From the moment we received their first proposal they set a high standard for themselves, and they have not looked back. They are always challenging themselves and their customers to develop and provide the best PR & Marketing. We highly recommend The Imagination Company for any project that you may consider.” Bryant M. Watson, (former) Executive Director
