Case Study: Catamount Solar

After five years in business, Catamount Solar knew they needed to bring their brand and marketing to another level in order to realize their potential. They had successfully built their company on the principles of experience and integrity, yet Catamount was still relatively unknown region-wide – not a good position given the growing, competitive nature of the industry.

We began with a deep-dive assessment of the company, the market and the competition. We developed an overall strategic plan for growth as well as a long term and tactical marketing plan. The key differentiator for Catamount is the fact that they are employee-owned, and our new brand strategy was to communicate why that matters to to potential customers.

To date, our work for Catamount includes: a new responsive website packed with SEO-friendly content including a series of short promotional films portraying the competitive strength of their model. We created and produced a comprehensive ad campaign for all media – TV, radio, targeted digital, paid search and print as well as all new marketing materials (trade show booth, collateral, etc.) We negotiated and manage the statewide media campaign and put in place a program for systematic PR and social media outreach.
